Cómo instalar Skype en Debian 9 Stretch Linux de 64 bits

Objetivo

El siguiente artículo le brinda un procedimiento simple de seguir sobre cómo instalar la aplicación de chat de video y llamadas de voz Skype en Debian 9 Stretch.

Se requiere acceso privilegiado a su sistema Debian 9 Stretch Linux.

Instrucciones

Habilitar la arquitectura i386

Skype requiere que la arquitectura i386 esté habilitada en su sistema.

# dpkg --add-architecture i386
# apt-get update

Instalar requisitos previos

Si aún no lo ha hecho, instale gdebi comando que es una gran herramienta para instalar paquetes l y sus dependencias:

# apt-get install gdebi

A continuación, descargue e instale libssl v1.0.0 biblioteca como parte de la dependencia de Skype:

$ wget -q http://ftp.at.debian.org/debian/pool/main/o/openssl/libssl1.0.0_1.0.1t-1+deb8u5_i386.deb

Descargar e instalar Skype

Descargue el paquete Skype Debian:

$ wget -O skype-install.deb http://www.skype.com/go/getskype-linux-deb

Por último, usa gdebi para instalar Skype junto con todas sus dependencias:

# gdebi skype-install.deb

Si la instalación de Skype anterior se completó con éxito, puede iniciar Skype desde la línea de comandos con:

$ skype

o desde el menú de inicio de su GUI.
