¿Cómo instalar Numpy en Python 3.1?

Tengo un servidor Ubuntu 10.10 en EC2. Instalé Python 3.1 y ahora quiero instalar NumPy en él. ¿Cómo lo hago? Probé easy_install-3.1 numpy pero obtuve este error:

Sin embargo, si no quiere hacer eso, intente python3.1 setup.py install dentro del directorio donde extrajo numpy. Eso evita el problema de instalación fácil descrito en los comentarios del código.
