1 - Descargar e instalar el complemento change_sqlpass

cd change_sqlpass
2 - Funciones de parche.php (ERROR con md5crypt)
vi functions.php
Busca esto:
case strtolower(PASSWORD_ENCRYPTION_MD5CRYPT): return '"' . md5crypt($password, $salt) . '"';
Cambiar a:

3 - Crea un nuevo config.php con este contenido (no uses el config.php predeterminado. muestra)
vi config.php
Antes de copiar el contenido, cambie esta línea con su contraseña de MySQL (su_contraseña_mysql):

5 - Instalar pera DB
pear install DB
6 - Limpiar la instalación
cd ..
rm change_sqlpass-3.3-1.2.tar.gz
rm compatibility-2.0.14-1.0.tar.gz
7 - Activar el complemento en SquirrelMail
squirrelmail-configure
8. Plugins
x. change_sqlpass
Guardar S y salir de Q.
