Ubuntu 16.04 – ¿Degradando el rendimiento inalámbrico?

He estado leyendo muchas otras bandas de rodadura sobre este problema y probé varias cosas, pero sigo teniendo el mismo problema.

Actualicé de 14.04 a 16.04, y fue entonces cuando comenzaron los problemas. Mi conexión inalámbrica es perfecta:speedtest.net muestra velocidades de descarga de hasta 65 Mbps. Un poco más tarde (alrededor de 10 a 20 minutos, según el uso), cuando me doy cuenta de que mi conexión a Internet se ha deteriorado, la misma verificación de velocidad devuelve velocidades tan bajas como 0,5 Mbps. Si sigo adelante, falla por completo en algún momento cuando el wifi se desconecta y luego intenta volver a conectarse continuamente sin éxito.

Si ejecuto estos comandos

    sudo modprobe -r rt2800pci
    sudo modprobe -v rt2800pci

La conexión es perfecta una vez más. Durante otros 10 o 20 minutos, y luego vuelve a suceder lo mismo hasta que lo reinicio nuevamente.

Cualquier idea sobre qué podría estar causando esto, o cómo puedo hacer para que la "solución" sea permanente, sería muy apreciada.

Finalmente, después de más de una semana de frustración, creo que he encontrado una solución a este problema, de que hay alguien más que quiere arrancarse los pelos, no lo hagas.

Parece que resolver este problema específico, que va de la mano con el molesto

rt2x00queue_flush_queue: Warning - Queue 2 failed to flush

los errores en /var/log/syslog requieren la siguiente acción

Ejecute el siguiente comando

 iwconfig

y obtenga la dirección MAC del punto de acceso. Ingresé esto en el campo BSSID en la pantalla de configuración de red en la pestaña wifi

Una hora más tarde, noté que la velocidad de Internet bajó de nuevo a 1 – 3 Mbps... y noté en /var/log/syslog que sucedió al mismo tiempo que un problema de IRQ16.

Así que seguí las recomendaciones para agregar "irqpoll" a las opciones de arranque.

Para agregar eso en Ubuntu 16.04, es necesario
Editar el archivo /etc/default/grub Edite/Agregue una línea para incluir lo siguiente

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="irqpoll"

Si ya tiene valores allí, simplemente agréguelos al final como

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash irqpoll"

Para actualizar grub cfg, ejecute lo siguiente

sudo update-grub

Puede verificar si irqpoll se ha agregado a su archivo cfg haciendo

cat /boot/grub/grub.cfg | grep irqpoll

Debería poder detectar algunas entradas.
